Sabres play well, still lose

The Sabres actually put together a pretty good game. The only problem is that they failed to score any goals. The Sabres outshot the Canadians 29-19, including 9-2 in the third, but Huet had a great game and really earned himself the shutout.

Miller played decent as well, only allowing one goal to get by him, and that should be enough for the win. Montreal just got lucky this game.

Official Three Stars

  • My Three Stars
  • Cristobal Huet (the shutout and the only reason Montreal won)
  • Brian Campbell (for his agressive play throughout the whole game)
  • Tomas Plekanec (scored the games only goal)
